Description
Carpet Fungus is a form of flora found across all levels of the Backrooms. It is a type of mushroom that grows primarily in moist carpets, but can be found in other damp areas of the Backrooms. Carpet Fungi is completely edible and is the most consumed food which grows naturally in the Backrooms. It can be found easily in levels as it grows in large clusters, which can contain up to seventy mushrooms.
Properties
Carpet Fungi not only contains a variety of beneficial nutrients, but also has effects similar to Almond Water. However, consuming too many of mushrooms over a short period of time can cause indigestion, stomach pain, and vomiting. Another unusual property of Carpet Fungi is that during a random time of the year, it stops growing suddenly for one to two months.
